Today's Pools
11 years 7 months ago
The pools today are proof of just how dependant Gold Circle and Durban racing are on our Indian punters, last Sunday the PA pool reached R715K but with a lot of Indian punters celebrating Diwali today and not contributing to the PA pool it has plummeted and managed to limp to just under 550K,clearly any boycott from this Community and racing in Durban would die a sudden death...

Why single out the contribution from indians. Not sure I get what youre getting at. You could just as easily repeat your above statement with White, Blacks etc. lol.

It was purely a observation on the drop in the PA pool which was there to be seen and it had nothing to do with race per se, however having said that go visit any race meeting in the Durban area and see for your sorry self who it is that is VAST majority on course and at the betting windows ...for you to turn it into a racist statement and make that kind of remark further proves what a sad person you are, talk about regurgitatating crap, try reading your post again , or any of them for that matter...

Agree, possibly the same way someone would choose to use a negative username like ItsAllOver.
Blinkered vision, or better blinkered mindset, cannot see the wood from the tree.

whilst all south africans strive to be one...its important for every business to know who their core market is and which segment of the market needs extra attention,,,,for racing to become vibrant again...we need to target new black ownership in the game... thats not a racist thing to say..thats a reality..whilst it was unfortunate about the weather and postponement of saturdays racing in pmb..i have no doubt that GC at some point planned this meeting for saturday with the indian community celebrating diwali on sunday,in mind...and if thats the case...a thumbs up to them and for the consideration ......a thumbs down has to be ....scheduling racing on Good Friday....this is an absolute disgrace....and having a night meeting on NEW YEARS EVE..
