I've Got The PA Blues-AGAIN

I hate to keep banging away on this topic, but I must continue in the (no doubt vain) hope that somebody in the nincumpoop department will finally wake up.

I have in front of me the fields for Fairview on Tuesday 18th March. It is an eight race card. There are two maiden juvenile plates. One has eight runners with one first-timer. The other has nine runners with six first-timers. Guess which of the two races has been included in the Place Accumulator...?

Yep. The one with six newcomers. Holy flaming showers of dog turd, will they EVER use their brains?

Gotta sort this out - not fair on punters regardless if the favourite wins - many of us like to put our pa's on early so we can't wait to see if first-timers have been backed - lots of punters have no idea of breeding and rely on stable jockeys to see which one is the right one and in PE that often means nought!!!

I know, Scotia. So sorry.

BUT this repeated inability to get even the most basic of basics right makes me see every shade of red. I mean, how difficult is it to get something like this right???

Magic has a point and I have done a quick investigation with my colleagues at the National Racing Bureau.

According to Raf Sheik , there is only a variance of two first -timers in the two races mentioned - I don't have the fields in front of me to confirm this.

Also the distances of the surrounding races may also have had a bearing on the final decision to place them where they did.

The criticism is well received however.

Quite agree with Magic, but one must look on the bright side - it could have been a Maiden Juvenile Plate with Workriders up!!
But seriously, this sort of "planning" is definitely against the serious punter and gives a distinct advantage to the stable connections - "Insider Trading" ?

Grunberger: six minus one is two? If I've read your post correctly.

With all due respect: bollocks.
