The only meeting that was still scheduled for the next 48 hours........................ The weather does not look good- has it been abandoned?

At this stage racing @ Scottsville is definitely going ahead as scheduled

We have had only light rain since Sunday's meeting, here in Pmb.
Currently not raining, but very overcast, alot of moisture in the air. Unless we have a "big" downpour, I believe racing will go ahead.

Just spoke to my Mother in Pietermaritzburg and she said that it has been overcast and drizzling all day and not going to take much more to make it unraceable. In my opinion there is even less chance of racing at Greyville Friday as the predictions are for 120mls+ in the next 4 days!:(

I was so adamant that they wouldn't race yesterday and was astonished that it was not that bad (watching the last few).

I was surprised we raced. Inos took Scottsville from a track with huge problems to a track that no one minds racing on. A huge loss and I would love to see how good Scottsville would have been in another year if he had been around to keep improving it.
