"Group" RESULTS - 'Evening' Saturday 15th March Workings....

Evening.

This evening completed, and went as follows......

The 1st runner we wanted 2.32, and with being around 2.5 on arrival and then crashing down to us and way beyond (hit odds on), we had a lay at 2.32 max. The lay was beaten after a battle with the outsider, so a surprise result, gamble foiled, and a good result..........

The 2nd runner we wanted 1.7, and with being around 2.06 on arrival and then tumbling down to us and beyond under good, late support, we had a lay at 1.7 max. The lay went and won, so fair play to her even though the runner up was 'easily' ridden to say the least! (way it goes), but what were those in-running prices all about? hit 5s in running and never looked liked getting beat once upsides. Anyhow, traders easily got their trade back prices in-running, so got away with it......

The 3rd runner we wanted 3.0, and with being around 3.45 on arrival and just getting bigger, we never see our lay price at any stage at all, so all had to avoid the race. The runner ran a poor sort of race to be fair, so the drift more than justified and 'one that got away in hindsight'........

The 4th runner we wanted 2.8, and with being around 3.2 on arrival, and not coming down to us at any stage at all, we all had to avoid the race. The runner was beaten, so it was 'another one that got away in hindsight'........

The 5th and final runner we wanted 3.2, and with being around 3.9 on arrival, just getting bigger, and not coming down to us at any stage at all, we all had to avoid the race. The runner went and won well, so a nice priced winner, but more importantly a very good leave........

WELL PLAYED........

'Rolling' strategy/target players (no 'free' lays for them) won 0.32 of a target...........They started on the 1st runner, and then after a poor result on their 2nd lay (the 2nd runner), they then had no more lays and so finished the session winning 0.32 of a target at worst...

Bank building strategy/target players had their 1st lay (the 1st runner) at 2.32 max, and a good result see them win a chunk of their targets..........They then had their 2nd lay (the 2nd runner) at 1.7 max, but a poor result see them give a little back............That's where they finished, so builders win between 0.32 and 0.57 of a target....

Traders won, or broke level, on all their trades, so they did all they could and won a little bit, so well played guys...

So we got off the start we wanted, but then with a winner, drifters, and another winner, we had to settle for winning a fraction of our targets. So a solid enough effort, and no point in laying at no value as then we'll go skint in the long run (such as the last runner )! So we did what we had to and that will suffice. Glad I played now, have a nice sleep and speak in the morning guys..

Afternoon.

This evening's workings then, as follows.......

6.20 Kempton. RED RUDY (2.5)

Our price 13/8 (2.625) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 2.32 or under, we'll go in for a lay.

6.50 Kempton. ELIZABETH SWAN (2.18)

Our price Evens (2.0) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 1.7 or under, we'll go in for a lay. *Traders be aware that she has a tendency to race very prominent in her races*

7.20 Kempton. AVOCA DANCER (3.65)

Our price 23/10 (3.3) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 3.0 or under, we'll go in for a lay.

8.20 Kempton. TRIMARAN (3.25)

Our price 21/10 (3.1) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 2.8 or under, we'll go in for a lay. *Traders be aware that although lightly raced, she has raced prominently in her starts, so no surprise if she does again this evening*

9.20 Kempton. CAMPANOLOGIST (3.55)

Our price 5/2 (3.5) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 3.2 or under, we'll go in for a lay. *Traders be aware that this fella likes to lead, or race very prominent in his races*.

All races priced up with non runners taken into account, up until 17:42pm.

That's what we have to work on for this evening then. Just about enough for all strategists to have a go, and although looking a tough evening in store, we still have enough within our armoury to warrant going into battle, so that's what we'll do. We need a start first of all though, so 'if' we get one it'll have to be a positive start. Anyhow, we all know the ropes now, so best get on,...

By the way, well done for yesterday evening, as I believe both were no play races, and both went and won! So good leaves. Anyhow, good luck guys and speak soon..
