Both Sea Cat and Pure Power were exceptionally unlucky.....

I think Grant van Niekerk would rather want to forget today even though he won two races......He was more conspicuous for his defeats than his winners.

Such is racing in the fairest Cape of all

I don't know about unlucky or poor decisions but I reckon you need danger pay to ride in Cape Town ::o .... The previous race the jock came from outside at the off and just sideswiped a few on the way to the front ...regardless of safety...and this race on the entrance to the straight was just chaos ... miracle nobody came down.

Very poor riding and a poor advert for racing today.

I thank you kindly sir .... had R100 each way with Betting world
when the jockey took it straight to the front i was o so very happy
and when it cam to the 200 i was jumping for joy.... been following
this horse for long.... although at a different course 2 runs back was drawn
11 from 14 and also finished 2nd by .25 lenghths...
so the draw was no worries

the ride on Sea Cat in the last was an absolute shocker and the jockey was terrible in his decision making...gave the horse absolutely no chance of hitting the places by going in the inside when he could have taken the outside...it was finishing like a train but the jock was atrocious in his decisions.
Pathetic!!!!
