The Zim born Jock did he ever ride in South Africa?

I see he rode a grade1 Double in New Zealand today (tu)

He used to ride in Zim for that big trainer who then died in an air crash (name escapes me). Then moved with ex Zim trainer, Clements, to Singapore. Don't think he raced in SA.

100% Mac.the trainer was Murray Lindley also on the plane were 2 jockeys, Gordon Whyte and Paul Muscatt who were also tragically killed when the plane went down..

Mark 2+3 went to Academy during last year 1994 for a stint + also once qualified, went to Jhb with Peter Muscutt (trying to qualify some horses for big raves) + rode a few for David Ferraris 1998. Nothing more than 3+ months
He is nephew of ex SuperSport Presenter, Tinkie Pringle...
