Can't say I'm really surprised. Horse Racing is seen as an elitist white sport, why would the government mouth piece cover such an event?
It really doesn't surprise me at all, in fact it does surprise me that they continued to carry the race for so long.........wankers!!!

what is happening with the bookmakers and Phumelela stand-off and how does it affect race viewing? As from Monday, will there be no racing at all on 239, or the normal stuff or only SA races??? And are Zim and Ngong also going to be abandoned - when they really need the income?
