I liked You Jimmy...when i started out studying how to find winners....i was doing research on everything and anyone....to find out if they knew what they were talking abt,you were 1 of the few.Stay positive and something good will come ur way...In GOD we trust

Sad but true

After listening to Martin Locke on Friday night I realised that , even though not ideal, our presenters today are a big improvement over those SABC presenters of those days-they honestly had very little knowledge of the game.
jimmy you have a lot to offer ......put your mind to how you can make it most worthwhile-all the best whatever it is!

Too many people are blinded by nostalgia - He was a poor presenter that reinforced the brown-nosing we see today - I did not enjoy him at all but he really did keep Racing in the spotlight with the National Broadcaster for a few years longer than it deserved, Do i think any new presenter should model themselves on him? No!! Do I think they need his passion for Racing? Yes!! Is he the correct person to train younger presenters ? NO NO NO!!

Sorry Jimmy! Not just about the sacking, but the shabby way it was done.

Englander's got the right idea. For what it's worth, I've been where you are, done it, got the hairshirt. Till at last I realised I was putting on the hairshirt myself ... no-one was putting it on me.

If I can offer any consolation it's just that this, too, will pass.

for me the dis respect is the worst thing. we all now the time come for all of us to call it the day when father time come call. the way it is done is what bother me. why no a respectful discussion and say the truth it is time for new blood. why no a thank you for what you have done and why no a fare wll for jimmy? i now the answer it is be cause the arogance extend all the way down to treat your employee. for me is ver sad and i wish jimmy all the best.

Very sad day, it seems if you are a decent presenter they look to get rid of you because you make the current mediocre presenters look bad, running just like a Government Department !!!!!
