UK Saturday

Discuss below
Scottish national day from Ayr, believe it or not it`s the 4th biggest betting race of the year only the National ( turns over 10 times the 2nd place race) is bigger
Betting turnover biggest races
1: Grand National
2: The Cheltenham Gold Cup
3: The Derby
4: The Scottish National
Interesting that the 4 races above are the biggest races with the public and 3 of them jump races, yet we are lead to believe that the public don`t like jump racing..
Some very nice racing from Newbury today,Frankel Brother and sister both running
Noble Mission likes this meeting having won his maiden and placing in todays race last year so at 9/2 maybe a decent bet

VILLAINOUS @ 13/2 1st timer from inform yard and jockey must be a great value bet. Maybe each way just in case, running at Newbury
KINGMAN @ 7/4 should romp home at Newbury
RETIREMENT PLAN @ 2/1 has a record of 2/3 James Doyle riding very well so should win at Thirsk
CAPTAIN RAMIUS @ 7/2 running at Thirsk is in my lucky 15 and a few wins to boot
The trainer of NUTS N BOLTS says the horse loves the soft to heavy and is a good each way bet @ 33/1

its crazy that they want your money but they don't want to show you the running. I would cease betting if that were the case and if 40% of the punters stopped for 3 months then they would soon change their tune.

What you guys think of foxtrot romeo at newbury, makes stable debut with frankie up... On earlier form would have a decent chance here.

Also had a look at this horse, was rated 114 when finishing 6/16 in a group 1 in the St James Palace stakes only 4L behind winner. Did not do well in Ireland, but we all know what Mr Botti can do. Nice e/w Greg. You give me more confidence now.
