Mrs S wants us to watch a movie about wall street, I think she says the wolf of wall st its on box office.
Would have to say Tellytrack has made a massive difference to my limited viewing schedule

A very good movie, worth the almost 3 hours viewing.

You cannae watch the Wolf on Wall Street. I stopped watching 5 mins into the movie after he was sniffing something out of a hot woman who was in a very compromising position.

SNVLP +++++...must have the stomach for the excessive portrayal of the excesses of the time...
Movie could have been 30-45 minutes shorter and still one would have got the message...

Sadly those excesses continued right up to the 2008 financial collapse, it's the world we live in and it would be naive to think that those "means to an end" don't exist. It is what it is, unfortunately.

Still continues to this day...2008 drew attention to it and was a temporary slowing down of the excesses but have since resumed and in some cases attempts to catch up what was "lost" during the temporary slowing down...
I stand corrected but my humble I belief is that economics is a zero-sum game and one cent more in your pocket can only come of the pocket of some-one else...even if you grow the pie, the pie has defined borders at any point in time such that a bigger slice for one means a smaller slice for another...
As an example, take racing...whether you bet with the tote or bookie, your winnings are fully funded by the losses of other punters with the middle man taking their cut...
I understand the world and I'm not naive as to the way it works...just that the way it works is not the best way it can work...

TN, come up with the fairest financial model, and you will literally dethrone God.
