July objection - upheld or not ????

Apologies to bring this thread up again but did anyone c bath race 5 today clear Intimidation by second horse onto third but I never thought of tearing up my ticket as I knw the consistancy in the uk

Just watching Andrew Bonn's July review and 2 things strike me:

1)The Female English presenter stated that she thought that the objection would never have been upheld in the UK but she went on to say that she understood the rules were different here!!!!!
-No.......... we changed them to be the SAME as the UK .............just not the interpretation.
2)Geoff Woodruffe said what we have been saying for ages................its the stipes job to police racing so why do they not react to obvious incidents..........they wait for connections to lodge objections ,together with deposits,and in most cases it shouldn't be necessary if the stipes fulfil their role!

The objection situation really needs a review and clarification.

I appreciated Geoff Woodruff point re that the authorities views always seem different to the general public-so true today
