Dean, I wish you luck mate. Can't see it being anything but a Waratahs vs Crusaders final. Both teams to score comfortable wins.

The sharks have my heart and support ....... But the Crusaders will get my money ...... The good news is I win either way!!!!
I see price 3/10................unless price increases substantially early in running ,I will stay out!

Dean, I would love to see the Sharks get another one over the Crusaders. IMO the top 2 sides have a massive advantage having a week off when the other two sides have a tough qualifier and then sit at home while the other sides travel to them. Should be two very interesting matches.

We have a few early morning tables booked, would like to see the Sharks win but don't think that will happen.

The historic win a few months ago by the Sharks to be repeated? After the home ground narrow victory against the Highlanders I cannot see them beating the Crusaders in their own back yard. Also the possibility of snow in Christchurch. I will be shouting for the Sharks but predict a cracking final between the Crusaders and the Waratahs

Sadly we have to dig out the old form book to get a sense as to the likely outcomes on Saturday:
Remember last year when the Crusaders faced up to the Chiefs in Hamilton? I pointed out that no New Zealand side contesting a semi-final at home had ever lost since the inception of the competition in any of its various disguises. (On that particular occasion the Crusaders were odds-on AWAY from home. And lost).
So the Sharks have an enormous task against the one side capable of, at the very least, matching them up front.
Nevertheless I'm hoping but DEFINITELY not punting. Just losing will be depressing enough so I don't want to have to settle as well.
As usual - a couple of issues are being ignored and all of these give the Sharks hope :
Weather? Rain would assist the Sharks as it definitely levels the contest and magnifies their forward strength.
Coaches? Blackadder has had a virtual All Black run on team for 6 seasons and has won nothing. That's embarrassing.
The Crusaders have the most impotent backline in my memory. That helps.
However - In Australia I am lot more confident of an 'upset'.
The Brumbies have improved this season and offer a good balance of grunt and guile. The Waratahs have a poor history of success in Super Rugby knockout situations. (They even managed to ship 90 odd points in a semi against the Crusaders some years ago ).
I give them a strong chance of fluking this one as minimal travel is involved.
In both cases I plan no betting.

Bob - if you put a gun to my head I'd have a small wager on the Brumbies.
