In CT for the weekend - can anyone recommend a decent restaurant that won't break the bank - preferably reasonably central - not on any wine farms

Colins just ask a taxi to take you to a place called Nelsons Eye,its a very good steakhouse or otherwise Theos at Mouilles Point, both top class.

Colin, forget the tourist traps. Have a drink at The xwaterfront by all means, but go look in Bree street...I will get the name...is an Argentinian chef (a hottie but that is by the by)....great tapas, good tasty food at very reasonable price. Also if you go to menusforafrica.Co.za and search Cape Town you can see the, menus and get an idea of what is offered with prices

Fish and chips + at Kalkies at Kalk Bay Harbour. Good food, won't break the bank and atmosphere with real people.
