Jeez I love Japan, lost my wallet yesterday in city centre, with cash, cards & Drivers,old man found it and drove 20km to return to police!

I left 3 bottles of JWB in the car park at Edinburgh airport and it was left in the lost and found for me to collect

I left my Ipad at the cashier when paying at Game, Knysna. Was back 10 minutes later and it was gone. No CCTV camera's looking over the cashiers ! I made sure I bought my next one elsewhere.

Japan is one of the best countries I have been fortunate enough to have visited. They have great respect for each other and for their visitors and if the train time table says that the train will arrive at 10.07 it arrives at 10.07 its never late, and the people will go out of their way to help you.

A couple of week ago, my wife's handbag was stolen at the Pavillion shopping centre.
The very next morning (Sunday), we got a call that the contents of the bag had been found.

Everything was recovered except the bag itself, her purse, cash, and cellphone.
She got back her car keys, drivers, all her cards etc. Even business cards.
Lucky the right person found it, I guess.

A few decades ago I had my wallet stolen incl quite a bit of cash and cards. A hot woman colleague said to me if only they just kept the money and returned the cards. I looked at her in horror - as I can stop payment on the cards and start the process for new cards. I cant do that for cash. I wld still want my cash back.
