The press release issued by the KZN Bookmaker Society and the Western Cape and Gauteng Bookmaker Associations on 9 September questioning the legality of the Racing Operators’ right to offer sports pool betting through their totalisator network refers.
Gold Circle is quite satisfied that it operates in compliance with the law. The suggestion to the contrary made by the bookmakers is disingenuous and apparently aimed at destabilizing the horseracing industry.
