Something that strikes as strange is, that the only reason you would not have a turf surface, would be to get the benefit of "all-weather" racing.
We have 2 sand/dirt tracks and in the USA these are very much all-weather, yet ours are more vulnerable to the elements than Turf.
Doesn't really make much sense as there is not enough benefit to our sand...........the inconsistent surface even makes the sand MR's very unreliable.
Seems Turf or all weather should be the call!
