@ Nickname and ShezaPunter, Rakes is fast approaching the last page of the book of excuses.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Rakes Chestnut only ran well when he looked well, similar to Marshalls grey sprinter who was touched off by Alexanders horse that was in the care of Ramsden
If you have recordings of him at Greyville when he was unlucky to collar Legislate and when Lockheed beat him and compare that to the disappointing runs you will see a difference

Exactly my opinion. And everytime he gets a spot in the big races now (without performing and "qualifying"), he takes up someone else his spot.... For a one time winner and a great second place, I think that is a little bit to much...

The R2, 5 million J&B Met to be run on January 31 at Kenilworth Racecourse next year will have even more shine attached to it than usual with the announcement that every person on course who has purchased a general entrance ticket stands a chance of winning a diamond pendant valued at a breath taking R500, 000. (Terms & Conditions apply* www.jbscotch.co.za )

The possibility of winning the pendant, sponsored by eDiamond, will add further attraction to South Africa’s most celebrated social and sporting occasion and there is sure to be massive demand for the various hospitality packages on offer.

Year after year the festive atmosphere and glamorous fashion of the day merges seamlessly with the prowess of the best thoroughbreds in the land that are cheered and wagered upon as they compete in the country’s most prestigious race.

It all takes place under the shadow of Table Mountain in one of the world’s most spectacularly beautiful cities.

Furthermore, J&B Met day is staged at the height of Cape Town’s famous summer which is characterised by its sun drenched days and long, balmy evenings.

The cross section of society that attends range from the young and attractive who mingle on the lawns, to high profile celebrities who are entertained in exclusive luxury tents, to the experienced racing purist, who can usually be found in the grandstand rooms, which boast magnificent viewing facilities.

There is simply no better party zone to be at on 31 January next year than Kenilworth Racecourse.

Additionally, the diamond pendant now offers a second chance of winning big money as the pool for the Pick 6, which can return phenomenal dividends, always reaches mega proportions at this grandiose racemeeting.

Majmu under 50,5 wont come off the bit..this is the safest Met play since the mighty Horse Chestnut...have taken 4/1 and will continue to back her until the pens open which will give me a few minutes to work out my tax...this is RACE OVER!!!!!!!
