I`m sure they will both come for the early part of the season, then probably miss the big day because they are on a jet plane

Very much doubt Sheikh Hamdan would want his eventual valuable broodmare taking on the boys so early in her career.

The fact that she is back in Jo'burg means that the Triple Tiara is up for grabs and the bonus that goes with it, MAJMU has won the 1st leg already. :)

Taghrooda was 3 years 6 months when she won the King George. Majmu will almost be the same age if she lines up in the MET.

Johnny Rockets entered for Snaith stable. Is his nomination to ensure that there's a strong pace for Legislate ? or ..... :silly:

It's good for racing when a star filly like Majmu is around and discussions centre around whether the stable will go the Horse Chestnut route - Guineas/Met/Triple Crown or the Igugu route of Triple Tiara/ W oolavington/July then Met.

However both superstars had not much luck abroad so Imho Mike de Kock may be a lot patient with the grey filly as he did comment that Majmu was capable of winning a Gr 1 abroad.

Perhaps I've missed it but if we do have an AHS outbreak in Gauteng how will this affect our horses if they have not already gone down to the Cape? Perhaps Louis or Ruby can help?

Prices as per Sportingbet Mon 22 Dec

Legislate 5/2
Futura 4/1
Majmu 4/1
Louis The King 7/1
Act Of War 8/1
Master Sabina 10/1
No Worries 16/1
Bezanova 20/1
Helderberg Blue 20/1

Act Of War is double the price of Majmu. Is this a signal that Act Of War may not run in the Met?

please be careful with backing majmu antepost ..I don't know if you heard Mathew dekock and Geoff woodruffs interview but there is a problem moving horses from randjies to the cape so unless this is rectified soon they wont be able to take majmu down...apparently the authorities wont budge on it cos an ahs breakout ..
