Like for the Vaal sand? Its clear that some horses live it more than others and their ratings must be adjusted accordingly??

They only have different ratings in the UK if it's proven that horses run better on the poly


As a rule they don't have different ratings over there

Peekay,my ratings show me that the turf /Poly ratings are ,AS A GENERALISATION close enough to not warrant a completely separate system.
Of Course there are exceptions but not more than for horses that don't handle heavy going.........or other type "horses for courses" anomalies!

Sand, however (certainly in SA) is just another ballgame.
