Gavin Letena is a very strong and very brave jock -but he is also like a bull in a china shop, which is why he is so unpopular with a few fellow jocks!

Did Van really have to stop riding the MR100 fav? IMHO if he tried to stay with the Shadow and get bumped and carried whatever, he could have had the prospects of winning the race in the boardroom if running 2nd to the Woodie horse.
Now what will the implications be if any taking the MR55 runner up into question and EOD?

I really like Mutamakkin. He is a top sort and with only 52.5kg's on his back, I think he should win this.
I like Captain Aldo to place.

So all i can think of is that this colt, Mutamakkin is so big and dumb that it needs to be raced a lot to get some condition off and eventually they will put it over 1 1/4 miles and it will show what it has or it is just not too good. either way, i'm done with it for now!

SOVIET CRACKDOWN will be my exacta floater (4 place strong) - had some nice hard sand runs to keep her fit - WILD DANCER is another that should be in the photo with a forceful ride from Khumalo.
