Find it hard to believ that there is only 9 horses rated between 72 and 88 in KZN that want to run on the grass over 1400m :)

must prefer the poly

Question to anyone that may know as I know nothing about jockey's apprenticeships. B Claassen who rides Black Oleander claimed 2,5kg's less than two weeks ago and now is shown as a fully fledged jockey. Thought he would have to have gone through his 1,5kg allowance first?

Is not an age thing or how many years he`s done? doubt hes rode enough winners to lose his claim

Finished his 5 years confirmed

They say he`s a good rider but was finding it hard to claim these days anyway, has a chance if he can control his weight

Race 7: We have Across the Lake over her favourite course and distance. Not well drawn, but has good gate speed, so if she jumps well can be competitive with the 2.5kg claim. An open race, but she should be included in the exotics.

Tonight we have 3 runners. We start in the 1st with Consort who is not in the greatest field ever assembled. She has to be in with a decent chance if ridden with a little restraint. Drury Lane in the 2nd is better than her form suggests. She shows far more at home here than she has on the track. She is quite hot so I think that when she gets to the course she gets in a bit of an overwind. If she reproduces her home work she is in with a chance. In the last we have Nights on Broadway. She found the 1200m in open company a bit sharp for her and will be better over the 1400m. If we get the rain expected in the early evening there must be a chance that this race will be changed from the grass to the polytrack. That will not worry her. A must in trifecta's etc.
