Tonight we have 5 runners and some with good chances. We have Hot Response in the 2nd and has been improving all the time. She worked well in her final workout so is a must in everything. Consort in the same race should not beat HR on their work together but this is racing and these things can happen. In the 5th we have our ever consistent Chill. He will run well here and is a must in everything. His coat is now looking great again. In the 6th we have Night lock who was in no mans land in his last run so put a line through that. Always tries and has a definite quartet chance. Discourse ran on well last time out and is well. He has a definite winning chance. It should be another good night's entertainment at Greyville tonight with the racing and The Gee Jays playing in the Lightning Shot bar.

in 35 years of following racing in natal I don't think I have ever seen so many poor fields on offer like we are witnessing now...I would like to go racing tonight as its better than sitting in the dark while we have power cuts but the quality of horses on show with the average ratings per race sitting at around the mid 60s is really putting me off...thank the lord the season starts in 2 months time so we can see some quality again like we did in years gone by in the off season

my 1 cents worth for tonite is in the first I think the betting should be the other way round withmayfair favourite and seek the summit 2nd fav...mayfair almost came down last time and did well to run 2nd..seek the summit ran like she would prefer further than the 1000m of tonites race and that was a 1200m last time...using roys goddess as a line horse mayfair has seek the summit held by 3 lengths...in the 2nd it seems ars poetica looks like she prefers the poly to turf so an each way bet at 8s could be value ..the rest of the card looks tricky and the handicaps with two of them being appy races look like night mares with the same old horses running

I feel tonight is a night that you can get hurt if you try chase too hard.
