Sporting Post At a Glance

Lance Benson's column, At a Glance, has comment from MdK and Basil Marcus regarding Jay Peg, this is the link to the website:

www.sportingpost.co.za/info/NewsViews/columnist/AtGlance.htm

I used to like to read the Sporting Post in print but unfortunately can no longer do so as my only local outlet, TAB Knysna, is not allowed to stock it due to orders from the horse racing dictators as part of their "only game in town mentality".

lol Chris. The sporting Post is my favourite publication as well. Its a pity, TAB dont stock it down by you anymore. There must be a way, you can receive it?

My local CNA was the only other place YH, but they stopped stocking SP and Computaform before the Mugabesque regime decided that punters and horse racing would be "better off" if choice was restricted, now I'm without print media as I refuse to purchase Computaform.

Mrs Horse Chestnut manages the tobbacconist nearby the TAB and would be delighted to stock Sporting Post if they can get them to us and we will pay to advertise locally that SP can be purchased in Knysna again.

I guess it's more about the feasibilty / logistics of getting this magnificent publication to us as we are in somewhat of a horse racing backwater. If it can be done Natasha will sell this valued horse racing media institution along with a fine selection of piped tobacco, bongs, cigars, cigarettes and tobacco industry paraphanillia.

Sporting Post and a pouch of Golden Virginia could still go hand in hand.

Chris there is a bookie in George by the name Hilton. He orders the Sporting Post for a bunch of oke's. It arrives on the DSL plane from Bloemfontein. His tel nr. is (044) 874 2558. I am sure he will help you out.
