Percentage on betting

HI can anyone please help me and explain how do a bookmaker work out the betting if you play a place all to come ,has certain venues a lower percentage or can they as bookmaker give you a fourth place percentage and you as a guy that just take your bet and go don't pick it up .thx Bobby g

Bobby always check the rules with your bookmaker

Some bookies pay different places , plus some pay on carded runners and not actuall field size

Ps just ask your bookie, they will always help a customer
