Is It True..

I recently heard MDK say that even the very best of Racehorses have only a certain amount of big races in the tank where they "give it their all" and then are simply unable to perform at that level again.

This ,in my opinion, has many implications regarding how the careers of these good horses are managed.

I can think of many cases where short sighted trainers/owners "push the horse hard" for 1 season and it never recovers.....

What do others think

Suppose its the same for all athletes, animal or human they are not machines..
