No justice in the world of cricket

Just seen Mohammed Azharuddin in the crowd at the IPL match. Smiling and waving and having his photo taken with members of the crowd.
'Towards the end of his career Azharuddin was accused of match-fixing. South African captain Hansie Cronje in his confession for match-fixing had indicated that Azharuddin was the one to introduce him to the bookies. This led the BCCI to ban him from the game of cricket for life in 2000.
The BCCI lifted the ban on Azharuddin in 2006 and even honoured him along with other Indian Test captains in a ceremony in Mumbai during the 2006 ICC Champions Trophy. The ICC, however, claimed that it alone had the right to revoke the ban despite playing no role in handing out the original ban.'
One has to believe that with all the criminal cricket players still being hero worshipped around the world that our own Hansie was the only player to end up being lynched. May he rest in peace.

On a much bigger scale, Tony Blair is making millions of pounds on the back of the illegal war in Iraq. For an hours speech he recieves up to 250,00 pounds. He has a job at an American financial institution as an advisor for which he is paid 2 million a year. This institution is one of the companies financing the rebuilding of Iraq. He has ambitions of becoming the President of the EU and there is a huge chance that this will materialise. The bigger the crime, the easier it is to get away with.
