Nearly as bad as your 27k bookies fee for Tellytrack
They are still paying the 8k set by the gambling board

I saw a photograph the other day. Stands have been stripped and it looks like a wilderness.

Bob I just saw an invoice for R26594.00 plus VAT starting 1st April 2015 to 31 March 2016 after which there will be another R4500 + vat increase per outlet...
Those that are in fact currently paying 6K (not 8K) will be liable for the shortfall as of the 1st April 2013 should Phumelela win the case , should they (P) lose the case the bookmakers who are paying in excess of the 6K will be reimbursed..

Win win for the operator, more profit for them and less tax to pay at Bettingworld
But they are going against the wishes of the gambling board,if it`s enforced 1oo`s of people will lose their jobs, bookies will close branches , other bookies will stop showing tellytrack and the r200m thats paid by the bookies in profit will be lost..
Then punters will lose interest and racing will die
