Streaming - Well done..Mr Scott?

I think Rob Scott must be the driving force behind the cleaner stream I'm getting via Gallop(RA) as this service has dramatically improved- No more excessive background noise and Bumpy is so clear it sounds as if I'm in the commentary box with him. I missed the Vaal though so I have no idea if the same happened there. The link from the VAAL is terrible normally as the live mic picks up owners, jocks, punters etc and you can hear the commentator talking to passers by when he is off mic. I do hope this will be the norm in future as many new punters may not have DSTV or could be in the process of disconnecting (in an economy like ours I doubt that DSTV will continue to see growth when it is far cheaper to stream all your entertainment)

I think your assessment is only partially correct. The racing international stream still has the background noise to such an extent that you cannot hear the final 200m of the commentary. Also if you listen to Singapore commentary you can hear the Fairview background noise.......

More annoyingly, while the commentary is ongoing, especially on a Friday, there seems to be crossed streams with other channels, sport or some French blabber......

Most annoying.

Sure some streams are good but all cannot be commended in the same way.

Sorry Chris I don't use that stream - I'm only using the local stream - I do hope they see this and address.

The one I'm watching is the racing international one which shows singapore as well. The one from the RA seems to be only for local racing?
