Then how many favorites has he ran 2nd and 3rd ???
If he can convert half of the 206 2nds he would have walked the championship.
I know some of you will say so does most off the jocks -
Lyle Hewitson - stats are also quite high but when he is on a favorite you know he is trying
It is just a thought ....
I think this is a unfair post and comment. Muzi has done so well. He doesn’t get the top rides the others get. I’m a fan of Lyle and Muzi and I think both have done brilliant jobs. Muzi probably has so many seconds on horses that probably were 3rd and 4ths with another jock. He tries really hard and when on a stayer he is super dangerous. Give both men credit and a Bells, been great to watch. Well done.

Lyle rides better quality animals and has also had over 200 seconds
Muzi rides middens in the weaker regions

Muzi Yeni is most definitely (talking as an owner) the most professional jockey in SA. He has an engaging quality and is a true gentleman. He also is a great talent as a jockey, I would personally love to see him win the title this year.

I think it's too late for him to catch Lyle. Not worth a punt imo

Feel different and the 7/1 was worth taking so on the 4/1.
Yesterday that ride on gimme a wave..top finish. While I was on the ever improving Groban.
