NEW CHIEF EXECUTIVE-NHRA

In today's Sunday Times the NHRA is advertising for a new Chief Executive.
In the Advertisment script it states that "It would be advantageous,but not essential,to have knowledge and experience of thoroughbred horseracing".
I can appreciate that some positions advertised require applicants with the required business and tertiary qualifications but if there was one position where an indepth knowledge of Horse Racing & Breeding is neccesary,then this would be one.

I probably agree, but maybe an outside man is what's needed

the industry is littered with people who have little or zero experience in racing so whats new?
