It's not fun anymore!!!!

.....after the July day drama of not being able to get online bets on.....or even having telebet calls unanswered or eventually getting an operator that sounds like she is taking bets on bush pig racing in Bush Buck Ridge.....then having a flutter on Stan Elley's swansong .....only to be banged out of contention....so what is their excuse for today.....cant get tabonline, online and took 4EVA to answer the phone and then it sounds like its still intoxicated from Bush Buck Ridge bush pig racing.....I think I have to give it up..... :sick:

The most difficult thing about racing is it's barrier to entry.It's not a 5 minutes exercise,and yet racing is chasing away those that are already educated in it,and then trying to find newbies.

I could not agree more its a total shambles time to close all accounts

Betting online is exactly where the bookies want you,so you hit the shops and that lasts about one week.Then your description is circulated and you are made to feel like one of the criminal elements.

It's getting so bad,I've started wearing a disguise if I go to a new bookmakers branch.

.....see the site is up and running again.....but not in time for a P6 or JP......I say PHUKEM.......they are killing the game.....it took me a lifetime to get as comfortable as I was before July day.....and I felt blessed that I was watching and punting from the comfort of my own home.....one that I built around me from the odd big windfalls I became accustomed to getting with what I had learned over the years......but since P6 rule changes I am on the downhill spiral.....got so aggravated with the drama on July day.....time to look for a new past time... :dry:

Interesting that there are still people who defend the way the industry is mis-managed by totally incompetent operators!
Bear in mind that this forum predicted the problems of July day ............surely the management of Saftote could also anticipate high volumes and make provision by acquiring adequate capacity, for those days!

.....Rob we are well aware of the reactive and not proactive management style.....they wait for problems to arise and then try fix them......instead of trying to fix them before they become a problem.....I heeded the warnings and placed most my bets early....but when wanting to take bets on what I did not include when seeing horses go down to post....those were the bets that did not get on.....I deliberately stayed away from betting lounges to avoid the once in a blue moon punters from clogging lines to the tote operators etc but hear that even people on course could not have a bet because they were unable to be processed as the betting terminals were unable to cope in processing bets fast enough..... :ohmy:

....a total clustaphuk ....and all we hear is how big the pools are and how wrong the betting exec guess is on the size of the pools......what did he think that they would be a lot smaller because they expected problems to be bigger and thus keep pools lower.....we are sick and tired of racing being run like a church fete.....time for people to be held accountable.....its a rush ....is in sy moer in.... :oops:

The biggest reason for the open bet is "P"'s lack of customer care or service to its clients..........and yet they are not embarrassed to use the open bet as the cause of the demise of the local product.
There must be a strong case for investigating the boards fiduciary conduct ,bearing in mind that tote turnover is the sole source of funding, of racing operations.

(I would take my Brighton PA on the open bet ,but with the tote down there will be no pool to create a dividend!)

P should be brought to book for bringing racing into disrepute

Time to call it a day as-well, never been a huge punter so doubt if they will miss me. Had enough of all the shit will only be doing sports betting.
