UK / Ire Saturday

One of my favourite days racing of the year with the Ayr Gold Cup meeting ...
Newmarket
If there is still 15/10 NIMR take all you can get ,this horse was super impressive on debut and might end up a pattern winner in the future.
Newbury
Grade 2 Mill Reef
Would be easy to tip King Robert
but I like Ribchester to confirm Gymcrack form with Raucous
Newmarket

Ayr Gold Cup
3 against the Field but this race should be treated as a bit fun.... Hardest race of the year to sort out imo..
I took some 50/1 EW Hoof It the other day but not sure the old man stays the 1200m on the slightly softer conditions ..
Rene Mathis will get the trip well and has run some cracking races in big handicaps but has looked a 1400m specialist so worried he will be taken off his feet early !!
Main selection is Highland Acclaim ran well last time in the Portland hcp and tbh the stable has to be followed everywhere, being a sprint pace is crucial and this boy is drawn Low beside Hoof It and that runner has great early speed ...

R3 Ayr Shared Equity E/W. Very competitive, but the selection has never run a bad race and a strongly run six furlongs with a bit of give in the ground should be ideal. Should go well and 16/1 is too big (will go off shorter).

Ayr looks a minefield today although could turn out to be a FAHEY day but away from there think that Spencer could have a winner or two. STEPS (3.25) & TOP TUG (2.50) at Newbury before going onto Newmarket for the last 2 races when on probable favs.
Also think BIG EASY with the often maligned Queally back on board could come up in 3.50 Newmarket.

R6 Listowel Eight Till Late E/W. Consistent handicap hurdler who handles testing ground and is running over his ideal trip. Can make the first three at least in a weakish race. 10/1 a fair price.
