Subject: CHANGES IN EXECUTIVE RESPONSIBILITIES

Date: 12 October 2015

On 20 August Phumelela announced the appointment of Clyde Basel as the new
Racing Executive for Phumelela following the resignation of Patrick Davis,
and that Basel would retain Hospitality and Events in addition to his new
responsibilities.
It was also announced that Chief Operating Officer, Andreas Heide was
appointed with the task of overseeing Public Relations.

The above appointments necessitated the review and the reallocation of
other Executive responsibilities, and Phumelela is pleased to announce that
Rob Scott has been allocated Sales and Marketing (previously under Basel)
in addition to his current responsibilities as CEO for Tellytrack.
John Stuart, Executive Director for International Operations and
Tellytrack, has now been allocated the additional portfolio of Publishing
to free up Vee Moodley to focus on leading Tote and Fixed Odds Betting for
the Group.

Phumelela CEO, Rian du Plessis said: "I thank all these Executives for
accepting the new/additional responsibilities and wish them well with their
new challenges."

.....A bit of cross function consolidation and extra responsibilities due to them now being a man down....wonder if they will divvy up the missing position stipend and all get a raise.....or is this a genuine cost saving on the executive head count....

Lets hope that new brooms sweep clean,perhaps.........................up until now,so many of the mentioned functions have been undetectable..............and if very little is being done ,does it matter who isn't doing it?
Lets hope it is a positive reshuffle!

(Who is the executive in charge of Tab-online "operations"?................anybody know?)

I actually think (and i`m hoping) that with added pressure and responsibility Clyde will make a difference... At the very least he`s approachable

So is it Vee who should be managing the unpunctual, slow, incompetent staff ?......I wish he would take as much pride in doing that job as he does in appearing on Tellytrack as a "celebrity" :woohoo:
