"Group" RESULTS - 'Evening' Monday 19th May Workings...þ
17 years 1 month ago
Evening.
This evening completed then, and went as follows..........
The 1st runner we wanted 1.8, and with being around 1.73 and drifting to around 1.77 quickly, we easily had a lay at 1.77 max. The lay came in 2nd after a battling finish, so a good result.....
The 2nd runner we wanted 2.7, and with being around 2.8 on arrival and being over 20 minutes away, and with all strategy play completed - I'm willing to leave the little bit of trading left at the table and chill out this evening, so good luck traders with the rest...
WELL PLAYED.....
'Rolling' strategy/target players. (no 'free' lays for them) Won 1 target....................They had their 1st lay (the 1st runner) at 1.77 max, and a good result see them hit their targets....That left just 4 potential lays left, so not enough to start another, and the end the session winning 1 target...
'Bank builder' strategy/target players had their 1st lay (the 1st runner) at 1.77 max, and a good result see them hit their targets...
Bank builder 4 runner strategy/target players. £400 bank. Max 25% target £100
1st lay £100 to win the £100 target @ 1.77 max. Result positive. Win £100
Total bank now £500
Overall result. Target hit.

Bank builder 5 runner strategy/target players. £400 bank. Max 25% target £100
1st lay £80 to win as much of the £100 target @ 1.77 max. Result positive. Win £100
Total bank now £500
Overall result. Target hit.

Traders are obviously up, and good luck with the remainder lads..
So it was a case of 'in and out' this evening for strategists, and after this afternoon's great escape, it was a very pleasing day/days work! Well played guys and speak in the morning.....

Afternoon.
The races, runners, and prices, to work around for this evening then, as follows..........
6.40 Windsor. SAYIF (1.73)
Our price 11/10 (2.1) and so a LAY is the call at current odds. We'd lay up to 1.8 or under. *Please note that more emphasis has had to go on the early markets for clues, concerning this race*
7.10 Windsor. SAVILES DELIGHT (2.84)
Our price 2/1 (3.0) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 2.7 or under, we'll go in for a lay.
7.20 Wolverhampton. MASTER OF ARTS (3.5)
Our price 3/1 (4.0) and so a LAY is the call at current odds. We'd lay up to 3.7 or under. *Please note that being from the 'Sir Mark Prescott' barn, this runner was especially hard to weigh up, and price up, but I've decided to go along with it and put him in our line up, so totally my fault if the wrong decision*
7.40 Windsor. FIRST AVENUE (3.3)
Our price 12/5 (3.4) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 3.1 or under, we'll go in for a lay.
8.10 Windsor. RED DUNE (2.06)
Our price 13/8 (2.625) and so a LAY is the call at current odds. We'd lay up to 2.32 or under. *Please note, that although very lightly raced, she did lead on debut and so may well adopt the same tact this evening - Also please note that more emphasis has had to go on the early markets for clues, concerning this race*
All races priced up with non runners taken into account, up until 15:52pm.
That's our work for this evening then. Just the 5 runners and so no room at all for error, and with that unexposed nature being rife, and leaving us open to big drifts and gambles, it's looking a tough evening in store. However! once again we do have enough about us to warrant going into battle, so that's what we'll do. Discipline to the maximum and take advantage of any prices that come our way. Good luck and speak soon..
