Kenilworth, 06/01

Won't lie, everything I've been touching lately has been turning into manure, hopefully a change of fortune or I'll be sourcing a two ton bag come this time tomorrow.

Man for the plan, good old Bernard, R2, Bora Bora and R8, Nima, 4.6/1 the double.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Feel you Bayern however I found some decent sorts I think may be ready to win at not so terrible prices.

Race 3 - double whammy 4/1
Race 4 - shamrock skipper 12/10
Race 5 - hanabi 8/1
Race 8 - playboy buddy 18/10
I didn't choose the #puntlife, the #puntlife chose me!

Go for shamrock skipper onto tumbles to get you on a winning road again.Almost 5/1

liberal sally worrys me.The mother was a stayer, best over 2000 and even won over 2400.i wouldnt be taking 2/1 on this one unless somebody knows something but will rather take kwando 2/1 place instead or stay out the race. that race has burn written all over it

A supported Nel first timer *runs far far away*

It is however a tragic looking field and if one of these supported Nel first timers will ever come through its this race. I think Fiesty Fiesta is a decent e/w bet in the race though. Will relish the extra and can't get away much worse than last time. Just hope the track doesn't have an inside bias but been running pretty smoothly recently.

borra borra X tumbles?

my budget is tight now for the month thanks to the fat stack I did over the past week (the things I coulda bought....) but I'm a big boy and life goes on.

So I can only play one double tomorrow and am having difficulty deciding. Convince me which one is best please. Someone. Most of these favourites have some merit makin it hard to decide. But I like borra borra X tumbles mainly cos i like bernard and aldo on short favs.

Race1: we have Entre Nous running here. She has been disappointing on the track- last year she looked like a promising juvenile. Her work has been fine and she could pop up in what looks a weak field. Kwando ran a fair race last time and must be respected. This is the sort of race that a decent first timer could win. New found Glory expected to improve on a fair debut.
Race 2: we try Twenty Four Carat over 1400m which should suit. Tough task from a wide draw, but has an ew chance with some luck in the running. Bora Bora, Nutbush, Bega, Kado and This is Sparta look the principals.
Race 3: Kotzen has a strong hand with Double Whammy and Our Destiny. Alexis was disappointing last time but that run should have brought her on. She skips the Paddock Stakes, presumably to focus on the Majorca on 23rd.
Sensible Lover could pop up at the weights.
Race 4:Shamrock Skipper is an improving sort, but seems a bit short priced in a competitive handicap. Fire master has his problems, but ran an improved race last time and has Bernard up. Top of the Rock is still improving. My Man Alex returns from a break, but is capable at best.
Race 5:Tumbles has been consistent, but Mixed Emotions is capable at best.
Race 6: Some smart up and coming three year olds. It's My Turn is promising, but has to give weight to the others. One Away is a narrow choice to win, but Kiss me Now and Whitley Willows also warrant respect.
Race 7:tricky handicap.
Race 8:Nima impressed last time and is a confident selection and pick 6 banker. Playboy Buddy, Squiddly Diddly and Elusive Rose should fight out minor money.

Regarding Bora Bora in race 2, I wasn't impressed by his last run. I remember that day clearly, I bankered Bora Bora in the PA and 200m I thought I was gone, managed to hold onto 3rd though. That run wasn't impressive at all, although it does say he pulled up lame and maybe the 1800m was a bit too far. In my opinion I think 11/10 or even 12/10 is too short here. I make number 13 Kado and the decently related stable companion number 15 vox populi dangers. Include these 2 in your exotics and tread carefully if you backing Bora Bora on the nose. Best of luck.

Alexis in race 3 is the best bet on the card for me. Interbet offering 3/1, that is very good odds in such a small field.
