Speed ratings for main contenders –

Race 1
95…Joyous
89…Lee Man
87…Numero Uno
86…Royal Explorer
84…Paltrow
83…Amistad
81…Ami Eleven

Race Reading:
Expecting Nunes to dictate the pace on Joyous and to be pressed by Royal Explorer, followed by Paltrow and Amistad with Numero Uno midfield, whilst Lee Man and Ami Eleven are to be held up for late runs. Joyous certainly has the credentials to win here and with a soft lead Nunes could keep going to the line. However, inspite of the legitimate figures there are a few negatives…Joyous often folds at the finish and the trainer has a poor win record. Should there be a duel up front it should leave the door open for Lee Man and the improving Ami Eleven, if not it’s a two horse race between Royal Explorer and Joyous with the value vote going to the former.

Race 2
94…Black Swan
93…Clair De Lune
90…Vraad
86…CameraStellata
85…My Touch

Black Swan overdue for the win…value looks to be with Vraad

Race 3
101…Smart Idea
..99…Knight Spirit
..97…Zeus
..97…Rum n Raisins
..95…Vertical Start
..93…Star Choice

Open affair with Zeus looking to be the value.

Race 4 – pass

Race 5
88…Public Guardian
87…Exciting Prospect
87…Dr Octopus
87…Confeign
86…Confacet
85…Major Green

Very tricky closely rated race, going with the top two.

Race 6
88…Anak Penang
88…Ready Fortune
87…King Savinsky

Again a tricky closely rated race with very moderate performers, with more hope than confidence going with Fortune Spirit.

Race 7
111…Dragon Fury
108…Knight Wager
108…Room for Excuse
107…Twickenham
Without an obvious front runner the pace of the race is likely to assist Dragon Fury

Race 8

..93…Panache
..92…Dragon Steed
..91…Toobigtofail
..89…Astrocandy
..88…Warship
Street Taipan the Jackpot Banker

Race 9

100…Nova Warrior
The improving Terms of Reference gets the vote…especially on poly.

Race 10
103…Court Case

..97…Mr. Whitaker
..95…Top Gun
The consistent Royal Ruler makes most appeal

Race 11
