"Group" RESULTS - 'Evening' Saturday 24th May Workings...

Evening.
This evening completed then, and went as follows....
The 1st runner we wanted 1.6, and with being around 1.86 on arrival and not coming down to our lay price at any stage at all, we all had to avoid the race. The runner looked the winner, but not for the first time failed to put it down when mattered and was beaten. So a bit of a surprise, and 'one that got away in hindsight'....
The 2nd runner we wanted 2.4, and with being around 2.6 on arrival and then dropping down to us and beyond, we had a lay at 2.4 max. The lay was beaten after a good race, so a good result....
The 3rd runner we wanted 2.5, and with being a well supported 2.08 on arrival and shortening, we had a lay at around 2.08 max. The lay was beaten after a battle, so a good result.......
The 4th runner we wanted 2.8, and with being a well supported 2.54 on arrival, we had a lay at around 2.54. The race is over 25 minutes away, there's no strategy play left and only a bit of trading, so I'm leaving it there guys with the money banked. Good luck if you stay on for a bit of trading...
WELL PLAYED....
'Rolling' strategy/target players (no 'free' lays for them) Won 1 target............They started their 1st strategy/target on the 2nd runner, and then hit their targets on their 2nd lay (the 3rd runner), and so with not having enough potential lays left to start another strategy/target, they end the session winning 1 target....
'Bank builder' strategy/target players had their 1st lay (the 2nd runner) at 2.4 max, and a good result see them win a chunk of their targets......They then had their 2nd lay (the 3rd runner) at 2.08 max, and a good result see them hit their targets...

That's our work for this evening then. Yet again this month it looks a tough session in store, especially with not many to work around and hardly any room for error early. However! we do have enough about us to warrant going into battle, so that's what we'll do. Discipline to the maximum as always, and take advantage of any prices that come our way.
