When I check the results, the horse finished a distance behind so I am not sure why an objection was necessary?

I used think only money horses weigh in, but seemingly not the case anymore

Your missing the point, the horse should have been instantly disqualified

I may be missing the point. Please explain how disqualifying the horse would have had any effect on the result?

Not sure what that matters tbh ? The horse might have finished 6th only beaten 3L for example , therefore in theory effecting future handicapping ?
Not sure the clerk of the scales looks to see all finishing positions when weighing in ?

Thats my point Bob. If the horse had finished in the money then of course a song and dance was needed. Let the standings stay with the adjusted weight for form studiers. Looks like a hatchet job on the clerk of scales that a hearing is taking place. A waste of time and money imvho

I am sure bigger things to highlight but did not think all had to weigh in thought was only horses in the money?

The point nobody can miss is that our regulators really need a tightening up,and it is unlikely to happen with a new boss who wouldn't know if they regulating correctly or not!
