Race 3- Hard to question if they have priced up the correct one as favourite after a pleasing debut, and probably is the one to beat. I fancy a bit of a roughie in this race - St Oliver 14/1. Its final run before gelding, was stepped up to more of a distance its looking for and although 7.7l behind the winner, we all know how highly regarded Heavenly Blue is. 1st run as a gelding was over a distance on the short side (possibly a pipe opener), dispite that, there was money floating around for it 25/1 into 10/1. Back up to a distance it should prefer, I make it a nice ew runner.

VAAL COMMENTS from TeamG
Race 1 - Mandolin, a repeat of last effort puts her back in the money her track work has been encouraging.
Race 8 - Delamere, could be there about.

Was Tuesday no transport, cost punters with deductions on the early betting, blatant bending of the rules imo, should be stand down for 12 days

Says transport issues as the reason for scratching in winning form

Has had a few chances - I prefer the lightly raced Brookie - lost ground at the start and was green on debut - ran on well - will go close imo
A card where nothing stands out - Pacific G overdue but has a wide draw and no value; Shannon's Boy in the 6th has as much chance as any and could provide some value in the exotics; Miss Argentina in the 7th - MR has come tumbling down and gets a another 4 kg's courtesy of the apprentice - not to be left out imo
Enjoy

One of the frustrating things about betting for me is that the ones you really like end up getting thumped... well, mine do anyway! Not sure why but heigh-ho lol...
Hoping it will not be the case today as I really like Sway in the 7th. Too short lto, drawn on the wrong side and not exactly given a punishing ride by Striker. Time before was baulked early, had to go across the track to find room for a run and, in doing so, seemingly got blocked off numerous times, not just in the last few metres, still only went down by 1.6l. Faces 4 rivals from that race again today and they take 5 of the top 6 spaces in the betting. Botes suggests on TT facebook comments the horse is well and the inform Lyle H is piloting. I think, given a clear run in that penultimate outing, Sway would have won with something in hand, expecting him to do so today. Is still an e/w price for those with less conviction than I
My main e/w double with Sway is Mendoza's Melody in the last. Perhaps not the most consistent but some of his form would give him a definite chance imo and has 2/2 silvers over c/d. Inform Simons rides. Arpad and Trip To Paradise the main dangers imo.
In the 6th I give Tiger's Legacy a fair chance but it may be a little on the sharp side for him and he is potentially not drawn well. My e/w shout in the race is Dragoon. Reportedly not striding last two, including one on the sand, prior form is good enough imo for him to be competitive here and has Fortune up. Competitive race though so conservative investment,
Woodruff double... Nilgiri Hills x Elevenses
Tarry double... Tandana x (the blardy annoyingly shortened too early for me!) Baracah
Hidden Agenda to upset the fav in the 4th.
Karma, I was on St Oliver lto, I think it shortened simply because 25/1 was way too big for the reasons you state. I was really disappointed with that effort lto so confidence not brimming over but I have nibbled again today in the hope that there were excuses for that. Good luck to us
Be(s)t of luck to all
