Race 1 Soldiers Bride has done everything but win on all three runs, if you watch the replay below you will see she was on and off the bridle last time and today`s blinkers might be the difference

Grey Light , got a feeling that the drop and trip and 5lb penalty will stop her going back to back
But i`s interesting Marcus retains the ride
Thoughts ?

Ignore Diamond Leagues last run and 8/1 looks a big ew bet
Race looks wide open though even though the bookies price up Northen Chorus quite short ( track might be too sharp imo)

I think Wandies is the winner in the Grey light race.
Personally though and would like to see Grey light back up there. I prefer her to win today.

Had to be impressed with Kildare lady`s last run and she loves the trip and track, also bumped up the weights to a career high though

Soldier's Bride and Honeysuckle Rose for the first. As mentioned earlier, the blinkers will make a world of difference and could get her into the no.1 box. Anton's mount is value for money at 14-10 a place and 10-1 a win. You have to always respect his mount. happy punting guys.

Far from my fav venue and looks a tricky card today. No big waffle but I might nibble or whatever some of...
R2 Royal Regatta
R3 Very open imo, I've chanced Prince Ariano at this trip from the 1 box, don't think Royal Champion is without hope and a couple of rand on Secret Success.
R4 Maggie Muggins, depending on how Honey Booboo improves for the step up in distance. Onesie also does the same and I have thrown a few rand her way.
R5 Grey Light from Lady Of Kildare
R6 Though a competitive affair, I like Just Rap here. Good win in penultimate and just couldn't find a way through lto. At a bigger price, Mission Rapids would have finished much closer lto had he not had to check sharply in the run to the line, the start is always a concern with him but worth a few rand. Seattle Belle also likely to go close imo.
R7 If Northern Chorus fluffs, La Vida Banco or Harvest Queen could capitalise.
R8 Hopefully fitter for the return run on the turf, I think back to the poly Roy's Lioness could be decent e/w value here. Another though where one's fate might be known coming out the gates. If not to be, then, at the weights, Zilla appeals.
R9 Hoping that Miss Brody won't need it as form gives her a good chance imo. You Bolt has possibly gone off the boil but a big price if back to best, again a few rand won't hurt.
Be(s)t of luck to all
