Bob maybe I have missed something? The guys post on Sporting Post is below the belt imvho. Each to their own but in very poor taste.

The 1st 2 races at Turfontein today are further "poison" to anybody wanting to participate ,in any way ,in local racing.

OTA... whoever he is, he is entitled to an opinion. I thought it was common knowledge that ABC is not exactly everyone's preferred glass of wine?

Like many though, it is interesting that he reads the "poison" but does not contribute, make decent counter-arguments/proposals etc to make us so-called poisoners see the light and cease our erroneous ways. I have no time for such people.

I wish him no ill-will and take no offence at his comments though, he is of course entitled to that opinion as I say. I would happily have a beer with him and discuss racing in general, only then could we maybe both see the other's point of view a little better. It is just a shame that so many people in racing don't seem to get the communication concept.

If the "he" is actually a "she" then I would be even happier to have that beer

So they do not agree with an accusation being made against a well known jockey......what a joke. If ABC does not speak for your view and you believe a newcomer would be negatively influenced then why not do something about it?

By this is mean, prove that the jocks don't have punters and are not involved in betting and accepting wads of cash that are never declared for tax purposes. Maybe you can get Titch to help prove this with you as he would be best placed to help.

I too am insulted by the high handed approach that this game is clean, frankly it sickens me as this presumes that i am deaf & stupid.
