Trip might be a bit sharp for her in this company but She has a prep on the 1st Oct at Newmarket, seemingly Delpech will ride then also , Frankie has been riding her work so his mount in the race will be worth keeping an eye on www.racingpost.com/horses2/cards/card.sd...6-10-01#raceTabs=lc_

Why Delpech?

if any jock, it should be Marwing, has been the regular pilot on several occasions
and know her best.

Interesting fact is that the 2001 winner of the Breeders Cup Fillies and Mare Turf, Banks Hill, is the dam of Smart Calls sire, Ideal World.

Maybe because Delpech is retained by Wilgerbos and Mauritzfontein and gets first call to ride?
However both jocks are top class and the horse is sure to be given every chance from the saddle.

What we must sober up to is that this is not a Hong Kong feature race and although Alec, son of the maestro Syd Laird has made a ground-breaking win for S.A with London News in the past, this contest is going to be a lot more demanding and it would be best not to have too high expectations from the filly.

I think it's always going to be tough, especially for a filly to travel to the UK and perform . I guess it depends on the individual but I think it would be a feat if she runs anywhere near her best and wouldn't write her off if she doesn't .

fair enough, just hoping for a run good would pleasing, she is flying the south african flag high
and has to be one of our best, seeing as she demolished reigning horse of the year legal eagle rated 120 by 3 1/2 lengths going away.
but u.k opposition is an entirely different proposition and would be a nice indicator
on how good or not she may be.
