What are they doing?

We have within the last few years lost the folowing jockeys who are no longer race riding.
Glen Hatt
Karl Nesius
Felix Coetzee
Gerrit Schlecter
Sean McCormack
Johnny G
and maybe one or two others.
None have rushed into Training so any news on what they are up to?

Geez Dave jocks are having it tough....it used to take them 10 years to count it all....problem is most of them then couldn'tt remember all the places they had it stashed....lol

Hi all.
Whats become of Bret Smith?after he quit riding,he featured on USO.
really enjoyed his selections and insider info.

Also saw on TT that M Khan is a racing manager for a GP based owner.

I think Khan got sacked, seemingly a few trainers complained about him

I would imagine that they would have been wise and invested for what is an early retirement in terms of the norm.
But unless really well planned retirement at such an early age can be nerve wracking. Living on a fixed budget.
New business ventures are not always a good way to go as they can burn money quickly if u pick wrong.
golf and travel would be a safe way to stay sane and enjoy the fruits of their hard work

With Marcus, Fortune and Strydom all veterans, I'm not too sure if the future is rosy ?

Young Zackey can ride , Hewitson, Murray and Munger are decent but imo they have tons to prove yet

Diego de Gouveia, promising youngster riding top of his game at the moment.

Zackey, Hewitson, Murray and Munger are a smart bunch of riders which i like.

Think consistency is the key for all the youngsters to get to the top.
