WENDY WHITEHEAD:
Race 1 – CARONA CIVICA (5): He is a very nice horse but will probably just need this run.

MICHAEL ROBERTS:
Race 1 – GIVE YOUR BEST (7) KINGSMEAD (10) AND MY BOY WILLIE: all nice horses but rather backward and will need the run.

GARTH PULLER:
Race 1 – LINE OF SIGHT (11): A feisty sort and has been gelded. Will need a few runs before the penny drops and in time will also be needing much further.

CHARLES LAIRD:
Race 1 – RACE MASTER (13): Trainer Charles Laird feels it is way too early to give a comment on his runner and will comment closer to race day. We need to go to print before race day hence no comment.

TONY RIVALLAND:
Race 1 – WYNKELDER (16): Wants a bit further than the 1200m he gets today.

MIKE MILLER:
Race 3 – KARATAGE (7): A very nice filly but if the going comes up soft, then I am really not too sure how she will act. She is showing me very encouraging work.

BELINDA IMPEY:
Race 3 – MAGIC MIST (: Will be green, need the run and is looking for further.

PAUL GADSBY:
Race 3 – NON STOP TRICK (11): Will need a run or two for the penny to drop but is a very nice filly.

KOM NAIDOO:
Race 4 – SMART SHIFT (13): A nice sort but I am of the opinion that he will need this run. If not too green, is worth including in the back end of the Quartet.

Shine up will clean up

race 5 - Qeyaadah 5/1

Ran in a grade 1 last time may have been a touch above his ability but I did think he wasn't given the best of rides on that occasion. Coming into a handicap now and he should go well here. 53.5kg on his back, drawn 5 must have a fair chance. At 5/1 I reckon he's well worth a little go. Nothing too confident though.

Nice to see Bella Sonata and Mella Maria run so well yesterday they both ran behind Elusivenchantment in Natal. She is carrying 1.5 Supermen in her race today (1000m) but should get away with it. She is always well and its her time now to start delivering her best. Would I say put your house on her NO but maybe a small wendy.

8/10 on rand hedge race 1 surely this must be early christmas, i expect this one to start 4/10 and win in a canter.

What kind of wind is blowing at Scotts today? I see they have it as southerly....haven't got a clue thou, my notes also mia
