Hello Everyone

I have been on a bit of a furlow but I am back now. Still involved in racing.
A question for the pundits out there. What is the most amount of races a horse has won in a calendar year. January to December.

Timeless times won 16 races as a 2yo ( I think) at the time it was a record ( UK)

Key is "in one year" ??? .....probably an unlikely horse from a yard that runs/ran often .....like a Buddy Maroun inmate perhaps .......or that PE sprinter that ran in a plate race every second week?(memory fails me) and holds the record for the most races overall in SA!

...came to me ...Hear The Drums?(won 8 in 2009 alone)

Not sure about maroun horses winning but I remember grand national? ? Running everyweek

Lawful Leader, the Kimberley horse owned by Slack and trained by P Miller won 8 races in a year as well. As you mentioned, Hear The Drums, he broke I think the great Sentinel's record. Sentinel won 8 races as a 3yo as well when he was 4yo according to archives.
