"Group" RESULTS - 'Evening' Thursday 5th June Workings..

Evening,

This evening completed and went as follows..

The 1st runner we wanted 3.0 and with being around 3.15 on arrival and then dropping down to us and beyond, we had a lay at 3.0 max. The lay went and won, so the way it goes...

The 2nd runner we wanted 2.7 and with getting a well supported 2.04 on arrival, we had a lay at 2.04. The lay was beaten and so a good result.......

The 3rd runner we wanted 3.2 and with drifting to around 3.75 on arrival and not dropping back down to us, race to race players had to avoid the race. The runner was beaten and so the drift beat race to racers to the punch. Grr! Early traders happy though.......

The 4th runner we wanted 1.6, but a non runner and 5.3% reduction meant we now wanted a lay price of 1.57. The price was 1.67 on arrival and then dropped down to us and beyond, so we had a lay at 1.57 max. The lay fell and so hope he's OK, but a good result financially..........

The 5th runner we wanted 3.0 and with drifting to around 3.45 on arrival and then dropping back down to us and beyond, we had a lay at 3.0 max. The price then drifted back out to our own price of 3.3 and above, so a chance for traders (builders hit and finished) to have a 'free' lay before the race. The lay/trade was beaten and so a good result....

The 6th runner we wanted 2.32 and with being around 2.92 on arrival and not coming down to us at any stage at all, we all had to avoid the race. The runner was beaten and so 'one that got away in hindsight'....

The 7th runner we wanted 3.3, but a non runner and 26.4% reduction meant we now wanted a lay price of 2.69. The price was around 2.36 on arrival and so we had a lay at around 2.36. The lay was beaten and so a good result.....

The 8th runner we wanted 1.8 and with being around 2.38 on arrival and not coming down to us at any stage at all, we all had to avoid the race. The lay was beaten, so the drift justified and 'one that got away in hindsight'....

The 9th runner we wanted 1.5 and with being around 1.56 on arrival and then dropping down to us and beyond, we had a lay at 1.5 max. The lay won and so the way it goes. Traders easily got their trade back prices in running, so got away with it....

The 10th runner we wanted 2.1 and with being a well supported 1.88 on arrival, we had a lay at 1.88. The lay was beaten and so a good result.......

The 11th runner we wanted 2.4 and with being around 2.54 on arrival and then dropping down to us and way beyond under good support, we had a lay at 2.4 max. The lay was beaten and so a good result...

The 12th and final runner we wanted 1.46, but a non runner and 3.7% reduction meant we now wanted a lay price of 1.44. The price was around 1.68 on arrival and with that and being 15 minutes away, no strategy play left and just a tiny bit of trading on offer, I'm leaving it there and so good luck traders with this runner..

WELL PLAYED....

'Rolling' strategy/target players (no 'free' lays for them) Won 2 targets.................They started their 1st strategy/target on the 1st runner and although they got off to a poor start, they then bounced back to hit their targets on their 3rd lay (the 4th runner)..........They then started their 2nd strategy/target on the 5th runner, and hit their targets on their 2nd lay (the 7th runner).....They then ran out of enough potential lays to start another strategy/target and so end the session winning 2 targets...

'Bank building' strategy/target players had their 1st lay (the 1st runner) at 3.0 max, but a poor result see them go behind early..........They then had their 2nd lay (the 2nd runner) at 2.04 and a good result see them back levels.........Then came their 3rd lay (the 4th runner) at 1.57 max and a good result see them hit their targets....

Our price 17/10 (2.7) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 2.4 or under we'll go in for a lay. *Traders be aware, that although she can race a few ways, it wouldn't be any surprise to see a prominent display this evening*

9.05 Uttoxeter. FRONTIER DANCER (1.66)

Our price 4/6 (1.67) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 1.46 or under we'll go in for a lay. *Traders be aware, that although very lightly raced, he did show a tendency to lead on debut, so may well adopt the same tactics this evening - Also please note that more emphasis has had to go on the early markets for clues, concerning this race*

All the races were priced up with non runners taken into account, up until 17.10pm.

That's what we have to work on for this evening then. Plenty to get stuck into and although it's looking a tricky and testing session ahead, we do have enough about us to warrant going into battle, so that's what we'll do. Discipline to the maximum and take advantage of any prices that come our way, as per normal. Good luck and speak soon..
