Computaform stated

Kir Royale was slow and lost 1L on debut
Go watch the TT replays he or she must have loft 10-15L
Today he or she was supported from 22/1 into 12/1 and runs a nice place (not complain)
But what about the folk with out replays that rely on form sheets ?

My point i made this week, really pathetic , how can computaform incorrect info be good. Years back the computaform was the bible for every punter but sadly the ratings, speedratings and tipster comments are very poor.
When i said fire fire fire on the best bet ever Caribbean bay last time , the new guy nkosi tipped her 2nd and even comment that she will run on. Woooooooooow , and he tipped my filly with a mr 41 3rd in that race.......
Everyone can see that in the years past it was men with passion and dedication and knowledge that gave punters everything they could to succeed , nowadays its just rumbling and lots of info need to be doublechecked.
No pride anymore.
The trust is gone.

When I saw them retain the times but remove the course variants,I knew there was not a clue!
The problem now is that if they re-introduce variants who knows what the accuracy would be anyway-attention to detail is not a norm with "P"!

THE STARTER REPORTED
A) KIR ROYALE reversed onto the back gate, slow away and lost 4 lengths.
THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED
A) KIR ROYALE reversed onto the back gate, unbalanced Jockey C Zackey as the start was effected. A race review was called into this incident and after reviewing the patrol film of the start and interviewing Jockey C Zackey and the starter, no further action was taken.

Back in the day all the people in the members used to have the computer form while us in the pleps section walked around with a race card or the racing page out of the Argus as the computer form was too expensive.

I worked for this publication in the early 90's ... I worked under Eddie Balshaw and Mel Kaplan... If we made as many errors in the books that you see now we would have been fired(we checked the books in pairs..one reading out loud the other reading and correcting info... horses winning with a 400m to finish of 30+ seconds etc ... so many errors that you have to check constantly and hope you watched the race so you confirm their comments...

sadly the whole handicaping side to the computaform is also all wrong and i have brought up this issue up with them but sadly they dont understand why its all wrong and to much effort to fix it ..there are countless other errors but another segment of the industry where people come to work to go home ...i recommended years ago to sell computaform to winnningform and let them do a proper job as its their mainline business whereas phumelela run computaform at a loss ..the mediocrity continues
