"Group" RESULTS - 'Evening' Friday 13tth June Workings..

Evening,

This evening completed and went as follows..

The 1st runner we wanted 2.1 and with being around 2.4 on arrival and only getting bigger, we never see our lay price at any stage at all and so all had to avoid the race. The runner went and won well, so a nice priced winner, but more importantly a good leave...

The 2nd runner we wanted 3.1 and with drifting to around 3.35 on arrival and then coming back down to us, we had a lay at 3.1. The price then drifted out to our own price of 3.4 and beyond, so a chance for traders and builders to have a 'free' lay. The lay/trade went and won and so the way it goes, but glad of the 'free' lay now.......

The 3rd runner we wanted 2.4 and with being around 2.3 and getting shorter on arrival, we had a lay at 2.3 max. The lay went and won, so yet another favourite goes in and the way it goes. Traders easily got their trade back prices in running, so got away with it..

The 4th runner we wanted 1.5 and with being around 1.6 on arrival and only coming down to 1.51 rock bottom, we never see a penny matched at our lay price at any stage, so all had to avoid the race. The runner was beaten and so ,oh so frustrating, that we came so close to our lay price. The gods against us and the way it goes as 'one gets away in hindsight'...........

The 5th runner we wanted 1.7 and with drifting to around 1.91 on arrival and then dropping back down to us near the off, we had a lay at 1.7. The lay was beaten and so a good result...

The 6th runner we wanted 3.1 and with drifting to around 3.65 on arrival and not coming back down to us, race to race players had to avoid the race. The runner was beaten and so the drift beat race to racers to the punch. Grr! Early traders happy though........

The 7th runner we wanted 2.5, but a non runner and 4.2% reduction meant we now wanted a lay price of 2.44. The price had drifted to around 2.66 on arrival and not coming back down to us it was another race to avoid for race to race players. The runner was beaten and so another drift beats race to racers to the punch. Grr! Early traders again happy.......

The 8th runner we wanted 3.1 and with drifting to around 3.2 on arrival and then dropping down to us and slightly beyond, we had a lay at 3.1 max. The price then drifted out to our own price of 3.4 and beyond, so a chance for a 'free' lay for builders and traders. The lay/trade was beaten after a battle, so a good result.......

The 9th and final runner we wanted 2.0 and with getting that and slightly shorter on arrival, we had a lay at 2.0 max. The lay was beaten after a very close finish and so a good result.......

WELL PLAYED/BATTLED.....................(3 from the first 3 (100%) went and won - So a tough start, but we came through it OK to either finish level or win a bit, so well played guys.)

'Rolling' strategy/target players (no 'free' lays for them) Ended Level........They started their 1st strategy/target on the 2nd runner and after a battle they drew level after their 4th lay (the 8th runner) and so with that leaving just one potential lay, they take the levels and run with now no room for any error...

'Bank building' strategy/target players started with a 'free' lay (the 2nd runner) that only bought relief.........They then had their 1st lay (the 3rd runner) at 2.3 max, but a poor result see them go behind.........They then had their 2nd lay (the 5th runner) at 1.7 and a good result see them back level..........They then had another 'free' lay (the 8th runner) that bought a tiny profit.........That left them within 10% of levels and so with only one potential lay left it's always advised to take the levels and run with now no room at all for error. So builders win between 0.08 and 0.1 of a target...

Bank builder 4 runner strategy/target. £400 bank. Max 25% target £100

'Free' lay bought no free profit, only relief.

Total bank remains £400

1st lay £100 to win as much of the £100 target @ 2.3 max. Result negative. Lose £100

Total bank now £300

2nd lay £100 to recoup the £100 @ 1.7. Result positive. Win £100

Total bank now £400

'Free' lay bought average/minimum profit £10

Total bank now £410

That left them within 10% of the target with just one potential lay left, so they take the tny profit and run.

Overall result. Won 0.1 of a target.

***************************************

Bank builder 5 runner strategy/target. £400 bank. Max 25% target £100

'Free' lay bought no free profit, only relief.

Total bank remains £400

1st lay £80 to win as much of the £100 target @ 2.3 max. Result negative. Lose £80

Total bank now £320

2nd lay £80 to recoup the £80 @ 1.7. Result positive. Win £80

Total bank now £400

'Free' lay bought average/minimum profit £8

Total bank now £408

That left them within 10% of the target with just one potential lay remaining and so it's always advised to take the tiny profit with no no room at all for error.

Overall result. Win 0.08 of a target.

Traders either won, or broke level on all their trades, so well played guys....

So builders make a tiny profit and after that very tough start to the session they'll take that gladly, so well played. Rollers ended level on the session and so after that tough start they'll settle for that. Have a good evening and speak in the morning..

8.55 Aintree. STAR LORD (3.1)

Our price 12/5 (3.4) and so a LAY is the call at current odds. We'd lay up to 3.1 or under. *Traders be aware that he's shown a tendency to lead or race very prominently in points, so no surprise to see those tactics applied on rules debut this evening*

9.15 Chepstow. OH SO SAUCY (2.1)

Our price 23/10 (2.3) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 2.0 or under we'll go in for a lay.

All races priced up with non runners taken into account up until 15.24pm.

That's what we have to work on for this evening then. Never easy and we never expect it to be with that unexposed nature in force again leaving us vulnerable to big drifters and gambles, but no reason to avoid the session with having enough ammunition to warrant going into battle, so discipline to the maximum and take advantage of any prices that come our way. Good luck and speak soon.
