Last seen when winning the Winter Derby. Has been gelded since then and has been nominated for the VDJ. Price for the July is 28/1 while the favourite here Prince of Wales is at 80/1. I think the Snaith stable rate this guy. Drop to the 1800m shouldn't pose too much of a prob or at least I'm hoping as he'll be racing fresh.

I'm sure Delpech has the pick of the Snaith rides in KZN and it's pleasing he's chosen Elusive Silva. Great draw and if he's to make a case for the July, he'll need to start winning. Definitely has most scope than most here. 9/2 worth a strike.

Great racing tomorrow. Lots of the top guns(Zodiac Ruler, Horizon, Epona) won't be at peak though but might still be classy enough.

Looking forward to seeing the good horses run, but as always caution that todays races are being used as cobweb removers

Think Believethisbeauty in the second will take some beating as I'm sure Justin's baby will need further . Will be having a full go. Will also take the double with Zodiac Ruler who now gelded and back at Greyville will just about win.

Banking April must be a runner in the 8th purely on fitness compared to the Cape horses who may be using this as a prep.

Tricky card IMHO, feel that most of the raiders will need their runs to bring them on so I won't be getting involved too much. Just a PA and a treble maybe.

Going with the raced runners here Freddie Flint and Red Eight. Wonder if MARCUS was on Mighty Mercury if it would've been shorter in the betting?
