Graded race downgrades - Why not Zimbabwe?

The recent downgrading of historical races to meet "International Criteria" and more importantly "the disproportional amount of graded races in this country". has reference. I need to ask the question how Zimbabwe could be afforded ANY graded race status never mind the presence of Grade 1 race. I have empathy for Zimbabwean racing and the scenario they find themselves in. I do however believe that the NHRA have the responsibility to revisit the scenario where graded status is bestowed on a racing centre that cannot attract a field close to listed status in the south.

Zimbabwe racing can not attract raiders as prize money is not being paid out to the raiders and has to be "reinvested". Time for changes.
